Preliminary Task - Evaluation - Question 4

How did you attract/address your audience? 

I asked students to review and comment my media product. The audience were asked to comment on what they found attractive and what attracted them to the magazine. A Wordle image has been created to show the good comments of the final and drafts of my media products.

  

During the designing I have thought about what different elements would be used to attract and address the audience:

I have used the institution of school to attract and address the audience this is done by making sure my images follow this. I emphasised this by the children  in the image wearing school uniform. This reflects that the school take pride in their environment and everyone in the school is an equal part. This also shows who the targeted audience is by the children doing their work and what type of environment they are in and by the cover lines its introducing the audience to go to the school chapel which highlights the what type of audience will be reading.


I have also attracted/addressed the audience by using particular furniture and code and conventions that will want the audience to read on, this is shown by using cover lines to engage the reader to find out whats going on at Trinity School. Also images I have included on my media products will attract the audience by using an image of their work, which will make the audience (school children) feel like they are involved in the school community.
